5. Collecting Interest - Pre 1975 Baseball (sweet spot is 1952-1969) however I have dabbled in T205/T206 and see that this is a very dangerous temptation. Of course am a hardcore Reds collector.

6. Family - A beautiful wife (married 9 years) and two beautiful and healthy girls (8 and 4)

7. How long in the hobby - Since I was 5. Took the normal 4 years off during college. First pack I can remember opening was 1979 Topps.

8. Other interests - Family and history

9. Do you attend shows? - Whenever I can get the chance to.

7. How long in the hobby - 2 years prewar currently; post-war/modern most of my childhood

8. Other interests - This Old Book, video games, electronics, good sci-fi shows (Lost, Fringe), antique/collectible shows (Pawn Stars, Auction Kings, Storage Wars, etc. There's a million of 'em now!).

9. Do you attend shows? - Yes, been to a few local shows, and my first National in Baltimore.

5. Collecting Interests - T206, T205, Pitts. Pirates, pre-1930 BB memorabilia

6. Family - Wife (21 yrs), no kids, 17 year old Fox Terrier, Ginger

7. How Long - Collecting off/ on since 1967, working on 1960 Pirates team set

8. Other Interests - Antique furniture, country store advertising tins, signs etc.

9. Shows - Some local, attended the National, avid weekend antiquer, thankfully I found a spouse who's got the collecting bug too.

3. Day Job - Corporate Marketing for bank holding company (not a banker!) and do Marketing and Communications for a close friend's business on the side.

4. Location - Blairsville, GA (about two hours northeast of Atlanta).

5. Collecting Interests - 1960's Topps Football and Baseball, all raw, no graded cards. I am a set builder for late 60's Topps Football and starting to collect Topps All Star Rookie cards from the decade. I love those big trophy's on the cards! Also, collect some other odds and ends related to baseball cards and have some fine, vintage pennants from some of my favorite sports teams.

6. Family - Wife (15 yrs), daugher, two dogs, two cats.

7. How Long - Collected as a young kid through high school, on and off for a while after that and then when I hit 40 I started back into it very seriously.

8. Other Interests - God, first and foremost. Exercise enthusiast. Hiking the Appalachian Trail slowly but surely. I enjoy reading mysteries and one day will finish my first book!

9. Shows - I have not attending a show in many years but would like to attend the Ohio Sports Collectors Convention in the next couple years.

4. Location - Northcentral Pennsylvania

5. Collecting interest - Vintage Pirates and certain Penguins and Steelers items.

6. Family - Married to a fellow sports junkie (7 years), no kids, a dog Moose (named for ex Pens goalie Johan Hedberg).

7. How long in hobby - pretty much since 1971, just started the T206 & other pre-war stuff the last couple years.

8. Other interests - Hunting, fishing, summer weekend home run derbies, music (huge collection, mostly metal & hard rock), making noise on the guitar and watching sports (live and TV)

9. Do you attend shows ? - rarely, as there are no local shows any more. I stumbled into one in Cooperstown this summer and bought a couple T206's I needed.

I love this site. The information available on here is fantastic.

2. Age- Just turned 58. SOB.

3. Day job- Retired UPS management. Currently work for the State of Missouri Boxing Commissioner.

4. Location- Eureka (St. Louis), MO

5. Collecting interest- I like to work toward completing sets, but the remaining sets are way out of my price range. I was lucky to be introduced to 1933 Goudeys in the mid to late 1960's and completed the set in 1977. Over the last few years I've concentrated on vintage boxing and autographed cards. I still need ten more autographed 1958 Topps. Also working on autographed 1961 Fleer Baseball Greats (have 55) and 1961-62 Fleer basketball (have 22).

6. Family- Awesome! Married to Peggie for 36 years. One daughter, three grandchildren

7. How long in hobby- Since 1958 with only a few short breaks.

8. Other interests- Boxing, mixed martial arts. Played rugby for 10+ years. Enjoy landscaping. Not to be confused with mowing the lawn.

9. Do you attend shows? Only a handful since 1985 or '90.

5. Collecting interest- T206, T205, Bob Feller, Pre WWII Cleveland players, Cleveland Browns and '89 Billy Ripken...

6. Family- Married 17 years with 3 kids.

7. How long in hobby- Since 1980 as a kid. Quit from '84-'89, but was brought back in by Griffey and the F-Face Ripken card. Kept in check for another 10 years until I discovered eBay. My '59 Topps set was finished in a year. Before eBay I'd pickup a few cards a year...

8. Other interests- There is more to life??

9. Do you attend shows? The National a few times - not much anymore. Everyday is a show now with the internet!!!
