outside of baseball?

I'd probably pick the 1894 N302 Mayo Cut Plug football set.

Default oops...

I mis-read the thread. "Outside of baseball", I'd go with Sport Kings.

Default Sporty and not as sporty

A couple that I have collected would be the T-218 boxers and athletes and the National Chicle Skybirds set. A set that I haven't collected but would be cool to have would be the National Chicle Football cards.

Leon,

"Back in the day" (read: before kids) I used to be a part time dealer in both sports and classic movie memorabilia. Movie cards were of particular interest to me. The Mars Confection set is interesting. Nice selection of stars like Clark Gable, Errol Flynn, Edward G Robinson, Spencer Tracy, Bing Crosby, Joan Crawford...I always liked the set because it wasn't the usual glamour type photos but rather was more like home life type of shots. I think Spencer Tracy was painting something, Robert Montgomery was playing tennis, somebody else was at a picnic, Joan Crawford was playing ping pong.... Not terribly hard to find, just a neat little set with quirky photos quite unlike any other movie star set I have seen.
