Don't know why so many fear mentioning seller by name... Thus, If you're talking about Bryson22, I'd like to add.

Though he comes off a bit aloof online, Ive had three outstanding transactions with him. Fair pricing, rare and unusual items, very fast shipping, good packaging and exactly as described.

I know nothing about his personal issues, though did speak on topic to him via phone two weeks ago. He is personable, knowledgeable and imo, genuine.

If he is having family/medical issues, that explains it. He's dumping some no doubt "special" items. I say, cut the guy some slack and Im sure things will work out.

I'd hate to think that a member here is just very impatient for delvery or worse, taking advantage of a PayPal loophole... Incidentally, out of the dozens of transactions on the BST over the past five years., Every one has been flawless and only one fellow was a pompous ahole -the subject of which I'm often considered an expert on.

I understand Bryson22 had many favorable transactions here... Besides the OP, It'd be interesting to see some others' post here regarding any negative issues on their deals with Coyte "Bryson22". Problems like this taints the BST

Default the part I hate ....

This is the part of moderating I don't care for; getting in the middle of stuff. All I have to go on is what is supplied to me and a history of a members posts/threads. I have spoken, on the phone, to both parties today. I trust both of them but obviously something is awry. The seller didn't send delivery confirmation, or tracking, which are both big no-no's. However, even with one, or the other, it doesn't mean that what was supposed to be in the package(s), was. If this ends up being a "he said, she said" and both parties are believable, then I am stuck at what to do, except nothing. I am privy to some emails already so we shall see where this goes. Yes, the seller could use a little better punctuation but he isn't a kid and has done a lot of good transactions lately.

Also, the original poster of this thread posted some private correspondence in the BST posts and that, in and of itself, is prohibited on the board. For what was posted I don't see anything more than a polite reminder being needed. If nothing gets worked out then I guess the members will have to go the legal and/or paypal dispute route. And to reiterate what others have said, this is a rare occurrence. I doubt I have to get involved in more than 1 BST situation every several months. That being said please remember it is always caveat emptor. regards

Leon - I purchased a few items from this seller and while communication was a bit slow I did receive all of them just as described. Did you or one of the other moderators combine all of the threads the seller had posted in the BST section? I know there were many postcard threads as well as the counters, Cardinals stuff etc. Shortly after I agreed to take a few of the postcards and a counter all of those threads were combined into one massive thread.

I understand that section of the BST was becoming a bit unwieldy but I think this may have led to some of the confusion. It was hard to tell which posts were responses to which threads.

Default good deals

Bryson22 sold me about 60 stadium postcards which arrived without incident and are an excellent addition to our collection. Actually emailed him again asking if he had any other postcards for sale. Would do business with again.

Many times I won't go into a certain BST area for quite a while. Another board member had alerted me that there were a LOT of individual threads started by Bryson and it was annoying. Bryson and I exchanged a few emails, spoke on the phone and yes, I did combine many of them. If I look down a page and the same poster has over 20 of the 30 threads, then something needs to happen, so I did do it and let Bryson know to consolidate them a little better in the future....It could have led to some confusion but not enough that something should have gone wrong, if there were good communications on all ends. regards
