![]() As for accidental purchases, not too many of those I can recall but I did go wire to wire with a minimum bid in the last Clean Sweep Auction for an autographed Exhibit card and wire to wire in Hakes for a 1940 Joe Louis advertising piece, so I guess getting those first bids in can sometimes pay off.
