I was lucky to pick up 11 of them when they ALL showed on eBay about 6-7 years back. Many of them picked up while there still was a debate as to whether they were authentic or not. At one time I had roughly 1/7th of all the Herps out there Somewhere I even have a list with prices realized for each of the cards. The first couple weeks (original seller sold them a few per week) the cards went for as low as $50 ea. but by the end (when everyone knew they were authentic) they jumped a bit and were selling for 2-4X that. PS. The Ruth was last one sold and it brought $7,777, and Cobb brought $1,526 Last edited by fkw; 02-23-2011 at 12:51 AM. Reason: edited to add exact prices. |

I have the "Kid" Gleason. I think it also came from Frank (but not sure). Maybe Frank remembers. Mike Ellis |
