It is in my closet (where I keep them in the box normally). I may try some beaters in there with the Silica packs to see if it does any good. Good news- the wife has a lot of shoes, so we have a lot of Silica packs

I was actually considering a bigger safe so I could put them in an airtigt container, but may reconsider based on the packs.
