Frank, that's a good idea, there is a lot of junk on it. The downside would be that it would no longer say, "large ass" on the back, which, in my opinion, is the card's best feature. I like to think of it as a rare large ass variation.

Great card, congrats on your first one. This has always been one of my favorite poses in the set very classic.

Herzog is one of my favorite cards in the set and I have a few, but the "Large Ass" has alluded me.

Great card George and there's no shame in rethinking your collecting strategy.

Default the magic

Yes, the Monster is calling and you are one of the rare lucky ones to be enticed by the large ass variation or largesse as is it said in more delicate circles.
remember the almost famous dictum:
the Monster wants you to quit. Don't listen to it.
all the best in your courageous pursuit,

barry

Y'all are enablers. I'm glad I didn't post about considering becoming a crack head. No, no, I'm too poor for T206 collecting, I'll stick with my original plan to make the famous and extremely rare "large ass" Herzog available for trade offers.

But they sure are beauties. They have a perfect balance of graphic simplicity and layered depth and detail. As messed up as this one is, I agree with what some of you have said, this is a great pose. The blue background has a nice richness to it, and the detail on the face and sweater is tremendous. I admit to being surprised and entranced by the artistry of these, now that I have one in hand.

Default "large ass" variation

Great series of posts, George--I just couldn't stop laughing! Funniest one I've seen.
