Nice pick-up Jay. That is a neat grouping of cards from an olderl collection. I wonder if the collector (Ron Menchine) who had them since the late 60s/early 70s purposely collected 1889 cards or if perhaps they are from one find that stayed intact over the years from a smoker who amassed the collection largely in 1889. Furthermore, seems as though the smoker was buying from cases that were mostly pink tinted cards. Then again, perhaps Ron Menchine preferred pink tinted cards and hence a collection of mostly 1889 cards. Either way, nice cards.
