Wonka,

As Tony said....stunning.

An absolutely awesome representation of all 3 sets of Obaks.
I'm pleased that You were able to win the entire group.

Once again, congrats on a job well done.

Brian

Those are quite stunning.

In my view have much better images and colors than the t206 set.

Thanks for taking these pictures John. They are way more interesting then looking at slabs. I'm sure that's the last time they'll ever be in a pile like that.

John- the 150's were very difficult to put together, I don't think many collectors realize how scarce they are. I believe my set is the only one on either Registry. When I had SGC slab my cards, they were still knocking off grades because of the blue stamped numbers on the back, luckily they don't do that anymore (I think). The really tough ones are the 6 or so which have different fronts from the 175 set of 1910s like Mundorf and McArdle etc. The one thing in your favor is that there don't seem to be any (or many) collectors going after them now so you might have a wide open field and not have to pay the premium they used to get on ebay when bidding was spirited. I hope you can get that set. I think the last card I finally found was the 150 series Wolverton so be on the lookout for it, it was a killer for me.
Again, congrats on the beautiful cards.

I have 29 of the 40 150 series cards. That represents about 4-5 years of checking every auction. There aren't that many of us pursuing them, but with the exception of the ones rotting on Ebay with Buy It Now prices they don't pop up as often as I would wish. Ort seems to be the one I see most often. Incidentally, I have two 150 Wolvertons, so if anyone has any 150 doubles, but needs the Wolverton, let me know.

And Wonka, if that ungodly haul of yours means you now have 2 1909 Obak Speas, that's the last card I need to finish my 1909 Obak set (hint-ety hint hint)....

Bob, very helpful thank you I recall you looking for a long time for Wolverton.

You are correct they have stop the ding for stamps which is a good thing.

Thanks for the feedback means a lot.

Cheers,

John
