Default Lefty Grove Rings and Police Badge....

Here are Lefty Grove's two Masonic Rings and a Police Badge from when he was Police Chief in Lonaconing, MD in the 1950's. The middle ring is inscribed, "Robert M Grove, Oct 24, 1929"

Default Rowing Cigar Tin

9 1/2" wide
European made Cigar Tin for Cuban cigar (so it said)

Picked up this tin yesterday on eBay...had a BIN of $249.00 and a make an offer option....hit it at $150.00 and they took it...Worn but never seen it before...title didn't have the word "rowing" otherwise probably wouldn't have lasted

I completely lucked into this pickup...well, not really..it was an easy pickup (99 cents on ebay), but I didn't realize it had baseball significance until just tonight when I was researching the former mayor of Lincoln. Frank Zehrung was the president of the Western League 1916-17 at which time Lincoln was a member so this autograph fits nicely into my collection.

Wow! You found 1914 and 15 World Series programs antiquing? Must hear the story behind that!
