Now that I live in Iowa, I figure I should have at least one OJ example from the three Iowan teams found in the set (Burlington Babies, Des Moines Prohibitionists, and Sioux City Cornhuskers). With only one known player/pose for the Burlington team in the OJ set, this card of Frederick Nyce was the perfect way to start it off. I like how Goodwin managed to fit "BURLINGTON" on the jersey.
![]() I briefly thought it would be neat to collect an Iowa player set but quickly realized some of the 1888 Des Moines cards would make this prohibitive. It is great to see some of the OJs ending up in Board member's collections. Tom Carfagno - Good price on the N173 checklists. I missed them in the auction or would have been bidding on it for the 1888 checklist. Let me know if you wouldn't mind parting with the 1888 list.
