There was an 1899 for sale in a local auction here in Indianapolis in 2002. I was the high bidder at $2,000 but the owner wanted $5,000. Later, he said he would take $4,000 but I didn't have the money. That same piece sold in a Mastro Autcion (Chicago, 2007, I believe) for $7,000 dollars. David |

A similar one just sold on ebay last month and if I remember right it went for about $5000. It is the only one I have seen outside a major auction so I would guess that is the approximate value. Rhys |
