I don't think this pinback was issued in response to a specific Giants loss -- it was part of a huge series of "I'm the Guy..." pinbacks.

Mike,
I don't think there's any way to know whether it refers specifically to the Giants baseball team. So many of the sayings are so esoteric, that it's hard to say. One other I have that could be baseball related says -- I'm the guy that put the bats in the battery.
