One must wonder why someone would buy an individual, highly visible, card like the Delahanty in REA (an auction that virtually every collector sees) and think that, even though it cost them a 17.5% premium above what the consignor realized, that they could sell the same card into the same market only a month later and realize a substantial profit.

Jay I wonder the same thing sometimes LOL. Some are great too, I guess the seller's just trying to recap his $9200.00 shipping fees from last month's SCP here.

Maybe he sells it as a consolation to the underbidder in the Goodwin auction? Who knows, but I find that to be a pretty substantial flip in such a short time.

That theory might work if you change the word "month" to the words "few years"
