Default No, not resurrecting the Tobacco pack thread, but.....

I just picked up this fairly nice Piedmont slide box, 1910 tax stamp, no overstamp, with a handful of cigarettes remaining. Sadly, there is no card included (so I'm telling myself that it would have been a bird or flag):

Slow month. Waiting for Chicago in a couple of weeks. From the BST. Thanks Brian.

Certainly would have been a bird or Flag..
did you buy it already opened with the contents already known or did you buy it sealed not knowing what might be inside??

I bought it, already opened, knowing that any card had been removed (and several of the cig's had been smoked). However, the price was right (to say the least). Do you somehow know for a fact, Marty, that it would have been a bird or flag, or are you just supporting my rationalization for not being disappointed?

Michael

Default Some nice Montiels

I was very pleased to pick up these three HOFers to add to my Cuban collection. The Dihigo was at the top of my wish list. The Dimaggio and Williams were a bonus.

Best regards,

Joe

Joe:

Great condition on the Dihigo card, that is probably the nicest one of those that I have seen.

Default Dihigo condition

Thanks Phil. I was real happy with the card's condition. It looks a lot better in hand than in the picture. I'm looking forward to having it graded.

Best regards,

Joe
