Not trying to argue with you Leon, but you said you found it disconcerting. I'm just curious what you found disconcerting about a prayer meeting held by a politician outside of the political realm?
And, if watching it bothered you, couldn't you have simply flipped the channel? On a side note, the white house has had a National Day of Prayer since 1952 - it actually goes back furher than that, but that's when Truman signed it into law. Do you object to that?
