There's a small stamp of the original owner and his address on the back. I doesn't detract from the card but rather give it some character. It was also the same owner of the 52 Mantle that I just bought but fortunatley wasn't stamped. Where's your 53 Mantle?

Hopefully it's in the mail! It should be here soon so when I get it, I'll scan it and put it up.

Just got these back from SGC. Pretty pumped. Pujols is the only modern player I collect. I know that they are not really vintage but at least the ozzie is close

The Harper will be hitting the bay at some point for some paypal for more vintage

I sure hope not. It would be cool if he finished his career with St. Louis. Just like Musial

If he cares about his place in history even just a tiny bit, he will be.

But, he's welcome at Chavez Ravine, if he has any interest in working for a parking lot attendant and his ex-wife.

Got this out of one of those generic after-market packages at Target...not a bad pull:

Very nice! I think that is one of Mantle's best card, the picture is timeless.

I'm not really a fan of the '53 Topps set. The art is good, but I just prefer actual pictures I guess. I got a decent deal on it so if I get bored with it I should be able to at least break even for a change.

That Eck is super nice for a "7", should at least an "8". Nice pickups.
