I think Papelbon blew enough games this year to take the blame for everything, he really sucks and the Red Sox are at fault for keeping him around at all this year.

According to sox fans at work he only blew 3 games all season, 2 of which were in the last week though. And he only lost 1 game - the last of the season.
From the games I watched, Bard can take his share of the blame. I believe he lost 9 games on the season.
