Default My First Baseball Tin Type
Great Ruth photo. Wow. My October began with this just arriving in the mail... Now to do some research on the uniform. Wow. (again, for that Ruth photo)

Strong 19th cent BB player tin type...the star, the belt the soicks, very clear..

And ditto on the Mathewson Caramel die cut card...not a card guy but like that one

Those Ruths are absolutely freaking AMAZING. Damn, I didn't think your Ruth collection could get much better, but I was so wrong. Congrats. What can you do to top these? A pic from St. Mary's perhaps!
BTW...Love the Ryan from last month.

It has been an incredibly slow month for me, so I'm glad people have stuff to post so I can live vicariously through them.

I am fairly sure I once owned a single-player tintype from that team - I'll check it out when I get home and report back. If so, I can tell you what team it is.

(just posting now so I don't forget to check for it)
