I recently met Bill Wambsbanss great great niece through Facebook, as she was a fan of my band. She knew of Bill and that he played ball, but that was it. I told her what he did and then sent her the audio from his Glory of Their Times audiobook part. Her family was thrilled! While some of them had shortened their last names to Wamby, she and her parents still used Wambsganss.
I'm tempted to buy this and send it to her.
