This is the only one I ever owned (and just for a brief moment). It was in with a big lot I bought on Ebay in 2005. I 'allocated' a cost of $11 to it and sold it within a week for $114. Thought it was a home run... now I'm not so sure.

Hi Ted- i think i was the one who got that Uzit (Wiltse) from you! i then sold it thru Barry...they seemed (at one point) a little underrated, but are now clearly right at the top of the heap. Here's my current Uzit (thanks to Scott L). it's one of the boldest examples i've ever seen. the ink is very dark & saturated. Last edited by MVSNYC; 10-30-2011 at 11:15 PM. |

| Hi Mike S.

I remember meeting you and your Dad at the Philly Show in 2006 (or 2007). That Wiltse-UZIT purchase back then turned out to be a really great (short-term) investment for you....congrats. Interestingly, your Mullin is a great example of the more intense BLUE ink on some of the UZIT backs. Also, my Schaefer, and mine > your's Wiltse, are other such examples. Whereas, my Herzog, Jim B's Willis, and other UZIT backs appear to have been printed with a lighter, or porous blue ink. Anyhow, it appears to be a phenomena very similar to what we have seen with the PIEDMONT 460, Factory #42 backs. And then, this effect could just simply be due to fading ? ? Thanks for your show & tell post. Best regards, TED Z |

| The above Sheckard (Glove Showing) is not my card but it’s my favorite Uzit because of its importance to the sets composition. Prior to it coming to market several years ago no subject that had been confirmed with a red Hindu back or Uzit back had been confirmed with the other. The Sheckard was the first subject to be confirmed with both red Hindu and Uzit and opened up the possibility that as many as 12 subjects may be found with both. The 12 possible are the 460 Only subjects that have all been confirmed with red Hindu. Until last year Sheckard was the only one of the 12 confirmed with Uzit. That is until a board member confirmed a Geyer with a Uzit back making it the second of the 12 subjects to be confirmed with both backs. Hopefully in time additional Uzit backs from this group will surface. Possible Uzit/Red Hindu Subjects
