He doesn't have longevity going for him, but ask any player who had played with him or against him, and to a man they will say what a GREAT player Tony Oliva was. It's really ashame how his knee problems encumbered his career.
With that said, my vote for a player on the list is Minoso. No longevity problem there. Someone not on the list and yet belongs in the hall is Vern Stephens. Stephens getting hardly any recognition when he originally was eligible was and is a joke. Last edited by bosoxfan; 11-05-2011 at 01:39 PM.
