Most definitely real, possibly trimmed but the real deal. Very nice cards!
Usually I check the back color on the brand, does it compare to graded cards with same back. The player name is always a brown not a blue or black and has a distinct font and size. The lithograph image should be somewhat vibrant, reprints tend to have a more dull look even when mint. Also some say reprint on the back near the base, check for that being worn away.
