Thanks for the help! I will continue my search for 19th century examples. Do you (or anyone else) have any examples that you can post? I am not talking about lemon peel or trophy balls, just examples that can be fairly reliably dated to the 19th century? Also, if possible, please explain how someone might determine it (stitch spacing, size, etc.).
