Is the Mays glove playable? In other words, if I bought it, I'd buy it as a cool glove to play around in, not as a collectors item. Is the leather soft or brittle. Do you think it would hold up to the wear of play? Are the laces in good shape. What about the interior padding on the palm?

Hi Mike,
Yep...this honey has seen little use and is as soft and smooth as the day it was made. You should probably buy both so your catch partner has good leather as well  The Mays is yours if you want it. Just lemme know.
