346 for me. Got one card (the Lundgren) nearly 20 years ago, but only started collecting the set 18 months ago. Kinda need to slow down the pace a bit this year...
Happy holidays, --S My best and favorite.................. Picking the "worst" was a tad harder... ![]()

I prefer a card with an erasure rather than to be ever "touched up" by anyone.....beaters don't bother me, but specific altercations do.....

I am about 50% complete: my score is 262. All lower-grade, mostly commons, most ungraded, no doubles.
At my current pace, I'll be there in another 20 years or so. I have too many hobbies.

Add 2 to mine with my first transaction here (Ed Summers) and a pretty beat up Cy Young. (I think I might want you guys to check the card out, having a bit of buyers remorse.)

Can I play?
Not sure if I might have been on the list as I've recently begun again. My 3rd try at this. I currently own 9 with more coming in the mail. Hope to be a regular updater. RayBShotz

Can I add to the mix? I'm starting small. I'll take my place at the bottom of the table.
I am the proud owner of 1 Harry Krause (Piedmont back). ....Everybody's got to start somewhere.

My MN stands at a whopping 3! Here they are, though I don't have a good scan of the Cobb as it is tucked away for safekeeping.

Gents,
The update for today is complete. Welcome to 15 new monster numerophiles. When posting indicate whether you number is going up or down or if it is your first post. Finding people's previous post is becoming more difficult. this will help. If you are on the list twice because i didn't find you, please let me know. Please let me know if you have died, unless your cards were buried with you, so I can delete you from the list.

long overdue update... last post was 12/2011. Was at 346 then. Now 468. Def slowing down as harder and more expensive cards remain. But always encouraged by reading others' progress, please keep sharing.

That's a good plan Den. This set will take me years. I've thought about breaking it into smaller sets first, maybe the Pirates and build from there. Breaking off small chunks here and there over time makes it more manageable.

I hear you Donnie. Btw I am an absolutely huge Cobra fan. I talk about the Pittsburgh drug trials in my us history course. When Jim rice got into the hall I was hoping there would be a reappraisal of Parker's career. Guy belongs in. Al Oliver too for that matter. Not rod scurry tho.
