Sorry, I don't mean to sidetrack this thread, but the Kleinow (bat on shoulder) card that Tsaiko posted bears a striking resemblance to Honus Wagner. Sorry again, I just never noticed it before.

Heres my No Red Ink T206 Red Kleinow Batting variation. I didn't know this card even existed before I found it. Only one i've seen so far like this. PSA didn't even catch the error. Might get it reholdered with the no red ink notation.

Kleinow's T3 is just a classic pose and card. Although his t206 catching pose is popular, especially the variation, I like his E 92 second best

please ignore the Bridwell....

I'm on the road and can't post a scan, but Larry McLean looks like he is wearing a butcher's apron for a chest protector. I've heard some people don't like the look of that card, but I have always dug it.

Best,

Andy

Default Trivia

Right on, Andy

As all the responses indicate here, there are 6 cards that depict catchers with some semblance of a chest protector. They are......

Kleinow (New York)
Kleinow (Boston)
McLean
Needham
Powers
Snodgrass (catching)

Thanks for your participation.
