There was a PSA 4 Ruth that sold for a really strong price recently. This card has just flat out taken off in terms of price.

Default the Ruth was pretty spendy all right

That very same Ruth card sold for $57K in Mastro's August 2007 auction. That's a healthy bump in price.

Default as expected

It seems the Ruth rookie is very strong nowadays. The T206s were very strong on the rare backs (15k for the BL460)....there were some other anomalies but overall it was about what I expected. Most of the E cards in average grade didn't do fantastic, nor have they recently. Overall it was a really good auction with a nice mixture of a lot of collectible cards. I walked away with one lower end e card for resale. There was really not much for my collection (not surprising considering what I collect). Nice auction overall. Now onto the several ending this evening...

I picked up one of the chopped off '33 Goudey Ruth's for cheap. I wish I had more money for tonight's 15 auctions. Best of luck to everyone.

I wanted the T206 Dahlen Brooklyn with the Old Mill back, but not badly enough.

Won a few e98s - dahlen, dooin and mullin. Was runner up on a couple others...prices for some of those seemed on the aggressive side

Default '48 Leaf Fannin

I am excited to have pulled down the toughest card of my Uncle Cliff, his short-printed 1948 Leaf card (#123), in the Goodwin auction.

I wasn't up the whole night but I was up for most of the last four hours, watching this card and many others that friends were bidding on.

It was my first time doing this for an auction and I loved it.

I went to bed nice and early, but did win the E93 Jennings. I'm pretty happy with the price I paid.

I wanted to upgrade a couple of my Old Judge cards, but prices were 2 high for me to bid.
