Default Bill Carrigan - 1928 Type 1 Photo
He looks pretty serious, as he should - this photo was taken in June, 1928, dead-center in the middle of a 3-year managerial stretch in which he went 116-295, quite possibly the worst consecutive three years in MLB history.

The proof piece Chris Browne posted will give you so much insight into the inks and colors used for production by American Lithograph to better understand colors and missing colors.

Oh, thats right, I did bid on the Brouthers and one other Detroit player, did not win either. The other was an upgrade, did not want to spend that much for upgrade.
