I do not think it is the same Joe Rapp as the "Goldie" Rapp who played with the Phillies. "Goldie" Rapp was 27 years old in 1921 so he would have only been 15 in 1909.

A website devoted to the Millers states Rapp was the only one who did not play in the majors. That was my source. Obviously, a good researcher - which I am not - would have verified the statement. Scot, you are right, I omitted Willy Wilson.

While Goldie Rapp's name was also Joseph, he did not play for the Millers and as noted was only 15 in 1909. Baseball reference lists a separate Joseph Rapp as having played as a catcher only one season, in 1909 for Minneapolis.

Very cool cards. My great great uncle played for the Saints in the late teens and 20's.Went on to play for the Yankees in 1921. Love the old stuff!
