One of those times I did not like the per lot closing, checked at 10:30 cst and the lot was closed, $12 over my max. Certainly would have popped it again.

There were a great deal of very nice Cigarette Packs, Boxes, Displays, etc offered, many for the first time in years.

That was my mistake as well... i checked at 10:30 central, not realizing they were on eastern time, and when I checked 9 of the 11 lots I was watching/bidding had closed. I was definitely going to bid on at least 2-3 more lots. (That one is on me though... i should have paid closer attention)

There were some nice items in there, but the site is super confusing and their descriptions are all but impossible to read from the main page. I do love the 30 minute rule as people have mentioned above.

As people have already stated... the site is terrible.

This is a great thing for a buyer because the complexity, bad pictures, difficult navigation make it hard for some people to follow up and bid and there are some steals to be had. I for one, look through the catalog when it comes in the mail and if I don't target anything initially, never go to the site. It's too infuriating.

As a seller, I don't think I'd be so happy that people are annoyed with the mechanism used to increase bids on my items.

There auction website is terrible. You would think with the money they generate it would be one of the best out there. Can't figure out why they don't update it. Most of the time there is only one picture for the lot. What the heck is it that hard to put a couple pictures on there so you can see what your bidding on? I'm signed up with about 20 auction houses and Hunts is by far the worst for ease and navagation. Heck even a watchlist would be a 100% improvement

Did anyone pick the Ruth Underwear photo? I assume it was an original? It was not even described in the listing so I thought someone might have gotten a steal on it until the price adjusted in the last few hours. Link

Scott, I'm not used to that either - I was out playing in a pool tourney and got 4 'winning bidder' emails on my phone shortly after 10:30 Eastern. Surprising, but kind of made my night.

Those displays Leon won are amazing. Same for the group of 5 Coupons - it was tough to lay off that one.

I won a bunch of stuff, but this took care of a set I've worked on off-and-on, in one fell swoop. Another addition for the man room:

After the fact I was upset with myself for not bidding more on a couple of items in extra time, but I came away with one item for cheap....

Boy I spent to much, someone ran me to the moon on the Sea Raider High numbers I needed. I will be bleeding for a few months over these!

I agree with others. 30 minutes per lot. Bid or get off the pot. No need to stay up until 6 in the morning just to lose out because you went to bed.

Dan, I am to blame for some of the bids on those Sea Raider high numbers, but I still think they went for decent prices for being in such nice condition, so you still did very well on those!

Default Hunt Auction Richmond Cigarette Packs

Hunt's Auction lot 264 offered a creditable match of a Richmond cigarette pack with the A&G ad and N28 cards. However lot 265 offered a Richmond cigarette box with the ATC ad, an 1895 tax stamp and N29 cards. Could lot 265 (the second image) grouping possibly be correct?
