I know this isn't actually vintage but how about the 1983 Topps Rickey Henderson Highlight Card #2......Cal Ripken in background-a-sneaking up behind him......early card of Ripken

Photo was taken at the 1961 All Star Game at Fenway and behind Mays and Mantle you can see Hank Aaron, John Roseboro and Bill White

I'm thinking that's Elston Howard on the left, not Bill White.

The 1971 Dell Stamp Dave Cash shows Bill Mazeroski in the background.

Easier to spot are Willie Stargell on the 1973 Topps Bobby Bonds and Dave Parker on the 1978 Topps Felix Millan.

Yeah, cap emblem is fuzzy, but the player is wearing pin stripes and all-black socks, so must be Howard, the
catcher on the AL squad.
