While as a potential future seller I would like to think signed T206 Marquards are worth over $1,000, as a current prospective buyer I am going to keep my fingers crossed that this was an aberration!

You're welcome- and thank you for making your collection available for collectors to view; that's what makes this hobby fun. I don't have a website, but I do keep my collection available for viewing to board members under my profile in the "album" section (this is a great feature of Net54 !!). My collection isn't all that, just a work in progress that will likely go on for 20+ years

Yea I was shocked at how much this went for. This went for almost 7x as much as what I paid for my signed Marquard, granted it isn't as nice.

The one that sold last night is pretty darn ugly.

Agreed. Collectors tend to prefer a nice steel tip fountain pen, or even a standard ball point. This looks to be a felt tip pen.
Here's mine -- same SGC grade, but the signature is much clearer as it is a steel tip fountain pen. This was my first ever signed T206 card:

STOOPID money (...tm dk). means to me you've been doing a good job getting collectors interested in signed t206s OP
![]() but seriously, STOOPID money. you could've had a marquard plus a couple other signed t206s from paul just a couple months back on the bst. also agreed sig is not very clean either. Last edited by chaddurbin; 03-02-2012 at 09:19 AM. |

There is a thread on the Memorabilia side on ACE finally landing on ebay's banned list. Any thoughts? You are still a contractor for Justin, right? http://autographcertificationexperts...ask=view&id=12 Certainly don't mean to derail this thread. Rather, just an invitation if you have not seen the tread. |

Marquard is easily the most plentiful T206 star player signature. His signature is not hard at all to find. However, I have seen his signed baseballs go for good prices, so the object matters apparently.
