Really? I always heard the opposite about him. Here's what might be happening: Someone doesn't like the high BIN, so rather than making a legitimate offer, they try to 'make a point' by offering something ridiculously low. The seller responds by countering with the BIN or a dollar less - his own 'point' right back at you.
The high BIN thing is somewhat of a game that ebay has forced on sellers. If it didnt work, I'm sure 707 SC would try something different. I was called some of the worst filth I've read on the internet the last time I mentioned questionable ebay seller habits - I'll spare you the redneck vernacular ![]() Sorry about getting off-topic a little. edited to add: regarding 707, make a fair offer if you see something you like - I've been told that he, specifically, is very open to fair offers.
