I do not own any of the cards, but I have images of the Acosta and Norman cards from both 1944 and 1945. They appear to be identical.

Thanks Scott, I was thinking that, I got a large group of 39 cards from 1943-45, and there are only 2 dups, the same 2 as your images (Acosta and Norman), so I was thinking the 5 are just reissued of the 1944 cards too. I guess I just call them 5 players 1944/45.

I don't know if you ever got the answer you were looking for on your question regarding the Grand Studio Milwaukee Brewers but I have all 3 Grand Studio sets scanned up on my website if you'd like to use them for reference/dating your cards. Some images were reused for both '44 and '45 (see Bill Norman for example). http://home.roadrunner.com/~jevintage/cards.html
