I don't have the knowledge to comment on the authenticity of either, but the one with the red and blue stitching has an appearance of flow, as in the ink was paid down by a pen. The ball with the red stitching only has a flat appearance almost as if it was applied with a stamp. Note the small areas of white within the strokes... like the ink did not get down into recessed pores.

That is how we can tell a rubber stamped signature on flats, using a loupe and looking for the white areas.
