Here's my Alexander. It is one of my favorite cards.

Ummmm...just a little joke there, Frank. But since you asked, a fair bit nicer than yours. Why? It isn't a particularly rare or valuable card...a few hundred in Near Mint. Undervalued IMO.
And to the point of the thread - I already voted 1913 as RC. Don't see why CJ would be when there was a card a year before. Cheers, Blair

I agree it isn't the best. When I first held it I was reminded of what a piece of paper was like after a car tire rolled over it on rough concrete. Post your near mint one, so I can praise it's pristine state... I once heard someone say "don't blahh someone else's bling"... My red border Old Mill of Stengel wasn't the nicest out there. A few folks could post nicer ones. The Cleveland Fatima T200 premium I had was a bit worse for wear, but there weren't many folks that had one better. You just posted when I was a bit sensitive about blahhing. Sorry.

I apologize to you - I did not mean any disrespect or to hit any sensitive spot. I don't regard card collecting as competitive. I generally like to encourage my fellow collectors. That is partly why I avoid posting in the monthly pickup threads - sometimes (not always) I feel they take on a competitive vibe. I was joking because I sometimes think I'm funny...others differ on that . All the best to you and my other brothers in collecting.Cheers, Blair

I'm still holding out hope of finding a small town Nebraska baseball team postcard with GCA on it...I know one has to exist. Two Dazzy Vance Superior cards have surfaced in the last year.
