I received my Huggins and Scott catalog in the mail today, and the back cover featured a picture of items for their August National auction.
Pictured was one of these Lou Gehrig MVP plates! I can't find a description on their site yet, but they might want to check these threads before publicizing this "award" too much....

Yep, I didn't see anything on their site about the August issue. Here is the back cover of the catalog, with the Gehrig award on the bottom.
