Default Less achieving siblings of MLB players

Title says it all. Post some cards of MLB stars/players brothers who didnt quite share the talent/fame of there siblings.

Ill start with Marty Walsh, younger brother of Big Ed Walsh. A good pitcher himself who never quite made it to the bigs. He did win 30 games in the Virginia League in 1908 for Danville though.

Interesting how this thread is morphing into a postwar-vint and Modern thread. Where are the Delahanty Bros when you need them?

Well now that I have been called out on my lack of early 80s Cardinals knowledge, it's time to drop an elbow off the top ropes...

I think if we changed this to less successful sons of baseball playing fathers it could go on for years.

Default Re: Less achieving siblings of MLB players

I recall once listening to an interview of Tony Gwynn in which he had such high
praise of his brother, even going so far as to say Chris was the better baseball
player between the two brothers. Maybe Chris was better, but it never really
panned out that way.
