Someone was a little hungry it looks like.
I love this addition to my HOF collection.
Only graded example at any level, as according to my research this same card accounts for the single Auth grade from both SGC and PSA. Maybe someone was hoping for a 1 on a crossover?

Jason,

I like that T210-4 Schafer ---- with his sweeter only on one arm, and over the shoulder, and his glove tucked under his arm --------- not your everyday pose

But that makes T210's FUN

Ha! I was trying to figure out what that was under his arm. I recognized the glove, but I thought he was holding something else under his arm, as well. I didn't even notice the different shirt sleeve colors.

Great cards everyone! First time I have ever seen the 1951 Hage's Dairy Cleveland Indians Ray Boone, cool card.

Also just love the Greenbergs, the 38's my favorite of his and the exhibit auto is awesome, grats.

Just arrived today.
2 more to add to my HOF collection.
A tough Boston Store and....wait for it...my first T206 (very clean EPDG back).
I think the Kelley presents very well, despite the paper loss on the front and couldn't beat the price.

Default Febuary Pickups

Picked up this 1961 original wire photo of Mickey Mantle. I really enjoy the press photos as they are pretty unique and the action shots are incredible. (I think I should have put this in the memorabilia section-my bad!)

This is a beautiful pic of Mantle chasing Babe Ruth's home run record during the 1961 season. I am going to get it graded and display it next to my Mantle Hartland Statue.

I also picked up the E101 Bescher in the Sterling Auction. It has a bad back but the front has great presentation.

Default New pick up.

Very glad to add this piece to my collection. I am a sucker for well loved cards. Would have really enjoyed seeing the look on the SGC grader's face when he received this though.

Great card, Best...I'm sure the grader took one look at that and felt that it was going to be the easiest money he was going to make all year long...no thinking involved in!

Default Another Detroit OJ

Extremely pleased with February thus far, first McGlone, now a nice Pete Conway. This particular pose was only issued in 1888 which makes it pretty tough. Thank you Toby!

Now that's what a 1 is supposed to look like!! Almost seems like there's more disparity in the 1-2 range than there is in 9-10

To add: I wonder if Francis just had a bad day or two in the teens, or if it was a 100+ years of gradual cumulative abuse. Congrats on the pick up though!

Picked up this 1931 Reyes postcard of Cuyler from Lew Lipset at oldjudge.com, crazy detail in this one (similar to the Jennings PC I posted earlier). Here's a description of the postcard from Lew's site:

"1931 RPPC Reyes Post Card of Ki Ki Cuyler. From a very rare set of real photo post cards of Chicago Cubs taken at Spring Training at Catalina Island west of Los Angeles. I know of only 4 different cards, all Cubs, with no duplicates. The card shows Cuyler posing in uniform holding a ball. Is in excellent condition and the back is clean."

Andy
