Default Help on a couple T206 values

Hello all,
I am not looking to sell or trade either of these cards, but am just curious to see what you all think may be open market values on a couple cards like this.

I have my Hindu Matty Port coming back from SGC in a 40 holder. I have an addiction to this card as I have also owned a PSA 2 and a SGC 20. I don't see any old sales above the G level, so what do you think it might be worth today?

I also have a Lenox Johnson SGC 40, and it has been a long time since it has sold on the open market. What do you all think about it?

Once again, not looking to sell or trade, just wondering about the two center pieces of my ever shrinking collection.

Thanks,
Bob

johnson port hindu sgc 30 sold for $1700 2008
young port hindu sgc 30 sold for $1450 2006 and psa 3 sold $1741 2006
so i think on the matty hindu $2500+
and i think the johnson is in the same area.

Thanks "Gold"! I hope you enjoy the SGC 20 that you pried away from me!

That was a great trade, we both got some nice cards that we really needed.

Very nice pair there! Your back collection and helpful info inspired me to go after all the Bender backs I can find.

Default Matty Portrait Hindu

Nice Matty, I guessed it was a 3 when you showed it to me last month. Very eye appealing and much better than just a 3. PSA 4's have sold twice in recent history (the first on Ebay, the second on this board). I do not believe it was the same card:

Mathewson T206 Portrait (Hindu Brown) - PSA 4 03/30/08 $1,853.00
Mathewson T206 Portrait (Hindu Brown) - PSA 4 12/13/08 $2,500.00

The Johnson is a tougher card and the only comparable I have is an SGC 20 with a written asterisk on front (SGC 20). It has changed hands several times between $1,000 - $1,800 in the last couple of years. I believe it currently resides with L.L. and is quite easy to find.

Obviously all prices are up today as the interest in tough/rare backs has grown significantly.
