10% Discount coupon on eBay. Where, How and If?

I have two eBay accounts and I rarely use either. On one, I got a 10% off coupon. Three days later, as I was about to use it, the offering is gone. Did it expire, how does one get one and can I get one again?

Larry I wish I could help you. In 11 years on ebay I don't think I have ever gotten a coupon. I must buy too much without it.
