Best of luck- that is the hardest pack to find of the Topps run-I'd heard that there are only 3 legit ones thought to exist. Steve Hart told me that he had a list of 7 guys looking for one so competition will be high.
If you do come across it in any shape grab it. The last one sold for $10k.

Wow, didn't know this was that rare. Did the one for 10k sell at auction recently? Thanks for the information, I will taper my expectations for finding one then.

It was a private sale, the one before that was in the Mr. Mint Michigan find, I'd have to look up the price. Those are the only two sales I've heard or seen of since '97.
'58 is the 2nd toughest, the last legit one sold for about $9700 a few years ago.
Given how many people are looking for '56 and '58 and how rarely legit ones come up for sale I'd expect them to go for more next time one comes up.
For trend comparison, a '33 Sport King penny pack (much easier than either of the above) sold for $6500 in the Fall of '08, and $12.5k a few months ago. The condition of the two different '33 packs were almost identical.
