Default Super Bowl 69 Pennant

Is anyone familiar with this pennant? I'm not sure if it is referencing SB III or IV, even though there is a Chiefs stadium pin attached to it. The only early SB pennants I've seen have graphics depicting one team or the other.

Should be Jets and Colts. Not sure why the Chiefs pin is on it.

Other than the date printed on it, I have always seen this pennant with other Jets / Colts items too. The pin is pretty common and probably just purchased with the pennant or had them displayed together. Usually dated pennants are better, but without either team referenced (although a tough style) this is not a huge hit with pennant collectors. Still has value, just no where near what it would if either or both teams were listed. Jason

Thanks, Jason, for the info. I agree that it is referencing SB III, and someone assumed that since the Chiefs won SB IV after the '69 season, it went with the pin. I saw this at a local antique store. Would it be a buy in the $25-50 range?

I would for sure. The pin is worth 15.00-20.00 by itself.

I agree with Mike, a good buy at that price. The pennant is probably 75-125 to the right person.
