Default t202 Tannehill/Lord

I recently placed a bid on an SGC 10 t202 Tannehill/Lord card. I am not very condition sensitive at all, and was hoping to add this card to my pre-war Red Sox/White Sox collection. I wasn't surprised that I didn't win the auction, but I was surprised at the winning bid - $325.00. Can anyone explain why this card, an SGC 10, went for that much money?

The center panel is of particular interest in this card, many believe the man Lord is tagging is Shoeless Joe, there is an in depth thread about this card you can search up.

Thanks for the info. I remember reading about the possible Shoeless Joe picture. I didn't even think about it when bidding on the card. Still, I'm amazed that this one went for $325
