Ca 1917 WWI Spalding Baseball YMCA France

Great looking WWI Spalding N.L. baseball with dark stampings and France YMCA stampings. Also notated in sweet sport is Sgt Franklin A Lovelace ? Supply Co
803rd Inf France. I cannot guarantee it but when I google 803rd Inf what keeps popping up is 803rd pioneer infantry which seemed to be an all African American unit. Not many of these around.
