These have been mentioned on this forum in earlier years.
They are definitely cobbled-together pieces made by gluing part of a magazine page to cardboard backing. If you don't believe it, toss them into a pan of water. Years ago, at a Pittsburgh show, if I recall correctly, Alan Rosen bought several hundred of the concoctions.
