Default 1915 Team Signed Baseball - World Tour with Jake Daubert, Sherry Magee, Braggo Roth

Initially I wasn't planning to sell this ball, as I got it in a trade from a friend who has had it for a long time. But, I figured I would test the waters with it and see what kind of interest other folks might have in it.

The ball dates to 1915/1916 and is from a Barnstorming World Tour that a group of players did along a lot of the West Coast. It's the only time this group of players would have been together to sign, and the inclusion of a couple who lived in the Oregon and Washington area indicate that it was likely done on the Northern End of this trip (players would pick up and drop off the teams on their way home after the regular season ended, and they could make a few extra bucks playing these games along the way). There are some signatures on this ball that are extremely tough, and some that either have no other or very few other exemplars, period. Some of the toughies include Jake Daubert (he is extremely scarce and still has a shot at one day making the Hall of Fame), Sherry Magee (also an outside shot at the HOF), and both of these players passed away very early and are near impossible to find, especially on a baseball. Both of these signature are next to each other vertically, at the bottom of the panel in the first photo. Another extremely rare signature is that of Braggo Roth (signed Robt. Roth), try finding another example of his signature other than public records. The signatures are light but I was obviously able to make out all of the names, and will put the full list below. Signed balls from this era of baseball, and especially from an event where very little is unknown about the details of the Tour other than some scattered rosters and broadside poster listings, are almost non existent. If this ball is something you are interested in, I am open to talking about it and willing to listen to offers.

Signatures on the ball include:

EJ Pfeffer
Otto Miller
Bob Fisher
Heinie Groh
Lew McCarty
Cozy Dolan
W.R. Alexander
John "Jack" Coombs
Sherry Magee (signed S.R. Magee)
Jake Daubert

John Henry
Dick Hoblitzell
Wally Pipp
Braggo Roth (Signed Robt. Roth)
Clarence Mitchell

Howie Shanks
Wally Schang
Ed Klepfer
Hick Cady (signed F.L. Cady)
Max Carey (signed Max "Scoops" Carey)

Bump on this. $4000 OBO. After a couple days I will either keep it or pursue another sales avenue. This ball is for certain a once in lifetime piece.
