Anyone familiar with NYC Skyline circa 1940s? Real Photo help

My Grandparents somewhere in NY. I always thought it was the Empire State building, maybe towards Queens? There wasn't too many skyscrapers back then. Any help is appreciated!

My wife and I are planning to stage the same photo
