1950's Dodger Autograph Baseball Help/Thoughts..
Brand new member here..I was referred here by folks over on BO.
I had this really neat ball that came in the other day and was looking for opinions on authenticity. I know that "clubhouse signatures" were very common on alot of these types of balls. Looks like some sort of adhesive glue was put on the ball to try and maintain the sigs. The guy also had some old minor league baseballs as well that were cool.. Any thoughts are welcome and thank you in advance.. [IMG][/IMG] [IMG][/IMG] [IMG] [/IMG] [IMG][/IMG] [IMG][/IMG] [IMG][/IMG] |

Welcome.
Clubhouse signed balls were especially prevalent in Brooklyn. Do a Google search for Charlie "The Brow" DiGiovanna. He did entire balls for the Dodgers. Hard to find a Dodgers ball when he was there that doesn't have a clubhouse signature. Tom C |
